In tests carried out in Sweden to evaluate the effectiveness against larvae of various insects, mainly Lepidoptera, of two preparations of Bacillus thuringiensis (Entobakterin-3 (a preparation of var. galleriae of Russian manufacture) and E61) (the international standard) (see preceding abstract), larvae were examined for the presence of microorganisms in the haemolymph. The results obtained are shown in tables.
