Pathogenic differences amongst three isolates of Helminthosporium tritici-repentis and the performance of wheat varieties against them

Pathogenic differences amongst three isolates of Helminthosporium tritici-repentis and the performance of wheat varieties against them

Indian Phytopathology 1973; 25(3): 350-353

Three isolates of H. tritici-repentis differed in pathogenicity on different wheat vars. Of 50 vars. tested, both indigenous and exotic, and of diverse genetic origin, only 5 (Gabo, Norteno 67, E 7192, E 7674 and E7807) were resistant to all 3 isolates. Three isolates from Dholi, Pusa and Jabulpur, India, differed in their pathogenicity on different wheat varieties.
