Plant biomass and nutrient distribution in a young Pseudotsuga menziesii forest ecosystem

Plant biomass and nutrient distribution in a young Pseudotsuga menziesii forest ecosystem

Dissertation Abstracts International, B 34(3): 955

Studies in a stand dominated by P. menziesii on the Greater Victoria Watershed, Vancouver Island, indicated that plant biomass and nutrient distribution within the tree component showed two basic patterns, one unique to P. menziesii and the other common to Thuja plicata and Tsuga heterophylla.
