Abstract
In 493 crossbred Merino females , body weight averaged 24.2 kg at weaning, 51.3 kg at 11/2 yr of age and 62.3 kg at 21/2 yr of age; fleece weight averaged 8.2 kg at 11/2 yr of age and 6.8 kg at 21/2 yr of age. Body weight at weaning was significantly correlated with fleece weight at 11/2 yr of age (0.42) and at 21/2 yr of age (0.40). No significant correlation was found among body weights at the 3 ages.
