Response of rice var. Jaya (L.) for nitrogen

Although paddy yields of rice Jaya increased progressively from 3.67 to 6.11 t/ha with increasing rates of applied N from nil to 300 kg/ha, the optimum economic rate was 180 kg/ha which gave a yield of 5.75 t/ha.
