Response of spring wheat cultivars to increasing rates of mineral fertilizers

The different cultivars of spring wheat grown in Novosibirsk Province showed a genotypic specificity in their response to applied fertilizers. Differences in utilization of applied fertilizers were attributed to differences in photosynthetic intensity and nutrient absorption activity of roots.
