Seasonal demand for carnation at the farm level

, : Seasonal demand for carnation at the farm level. Acta Horticulturae (25): 127-136

Carnation prices in the S.Remo market were analyzed for the period 1954/67 to determine the nature of monthly fluctuations of the price-quantity function. The price was studied as a function of the carnation and rose quantity, trend and effect of Easter; the data were on a monthly basis. Initially, the equation was derived without any considerations of monthly variation.
