An investigation was made of the varieties Griot moskovskii Bagryanaya Smena Moldezhnaya Chernookaya Dobraya Ballada, Valentina, Saniya, Zhukovskaya, Tambovchanka (sour cherry from Tambov), Vladimir, Lyubskaya and Shubinka. Smena was highly self fertile and needed no pollinators. Data from two years showed that Lyubskaya and Vladimir are good pollinators for all varieties and data from one year indicated that Griot moskovskii is.
