Studies on Sandal spike. Part X. Deoxyribonuclease and ribonuclease activities, and nucleic acid levels in Sandal (Santalum album Linn.) affected by spike mycoplasma

Studies on Sandal spike. Part X. Deoxyribonuclease and ribonuclease activities, and nucleic acid levels in Sandal (Santalum album Linn.) affected by spike mycoplasma

Proceedings of the Indian Academy of Sciences, B 77(3): 131-136

(Cf. FA 33, 6397; 35, 6206, 7675) In a laboratory study of fresh leaf samples of S. album, both healthy and diseased, a serious disturbance was observed in the nucleic-acid metabolism of diseased plants at the young leaf stage; this suggested a rapid multiplication of the mycoplasma at that stage.
