Acta Botanica Indica 2(2): 129-135



Among the 30 spp. isolated from spring wheat, barley, maize, sorghum and rice Aspergillus spp. predominated. Leaf extracts of Adiantum caudatum and Polypodium multilineatum, and the fungicides cuman, blitox and agrosan reduced the number of fungi on the seed surface and inhibited their spore germination.
