Studies on crimson clover leaf blight. I. Comparison of the pathogenicity of the leaf blight fungus and of that causing sheath blight of rice (Corticium sasakii (Shirai) Matsumoto) on leguminous and gramineous crops and on rice by means of soil inoculation

Bulletin of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Nihon University Nihon Daigaku Nojuigakubu Gakujutsu Kenkyu Hokoku (31): 124-133

The fungus responsible for summer blight of Trifolium incarnatum proved to be more virulent than typical C. sasakii in its pathogenic action on Dactylis glomerata, Agrostis gigantea, T. pratense, T. repens, T. incarnatum, T. hybridum, Medicago sativa and Ladino clover, but on Oryza sativa and Lolium multiflorum C. sasakii was more pathogenic.
