Of 9 herbicides tested pre-emergence sprays of TOK-E25 [nitrofen] or post-emergence sprays of Embutox [2,4-DB sodium + 2,4-DB potassium] each resulted in increased yields of foliage and oil. Post-emergence application of Telvar [monuron] also gave good results.
