Studies on the manufacturing of wood-based cement boards (8). The properties of three-layer boards made from wood particles of different shapes

Studies on the manufacturing of wood-based cement boards (8). The properties of three-layer boards made from wood particles of different shapes

Journal of the Hokkaido Forest Products Research Institute (Dec.): 10-14

Compares the properties of 3-layer boards with face : core : back particle-weight ratios of 1 : 1 : 1, 1 : 2 : 1 and 1 : 4 : 1, made with various combinations of chips from a Pallmann chipper, particles from a double disk refiner, sawdust and pulp waste, with those of single-layer boards made from each of the different types of particle used separately.
