Studies on viruses and virus diseases of cruciferous plants. VI. Effect of cabbage black ring and cucumber mosaic viruses in mixed infection on seed production of radish

Studies on viruses and virus diseases of cruciferous plants. VI. Effect of cabbage black ring and cucumber mosaic viruses in mixed infection on seed production of radish

Acta Phytopathologica Academiae Scientarum Hungariae 7(4): 315-324

From plants of overwintered radish seed crops cabbage black ring and cucumber mosaic viruses were isolated as mixed infections. Due to reduction in vigour the number of pods, the number of seeds and the seed weight per plant were reduced by 75, 83 and 89%, respectively, compared with healthy plants. The 1000 seed weight was lowered by about 34% but germination by only 6%.
