In sand-culture experiments, groundnuts TMV.2 were supplied with 0, 1, 5, 10 or 20 mu g B/ml nutrient solution and leaves were sampled at the early flowering, full flowering, peg elongation and pod formation stages (30, 45, 60 and 105 days after sowing, respectively). No toxicity symptoms were exhibited at 1 mu g/ml and the contents of B in the whole leaf increased from 50 mu g/g at 30 days to 126 mu g at 105 days.
