Susceptibility of TMV-resistant tomatoes to tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV), potato virus X (PVX) and tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) infection

Susceptibility of TMV-resistant tomatoes to tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV), potato virus X (PVX) and tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) infection

Acta Biologica Cracoviensia, Botanica 17(2): 193-205

Three wild spp. of Lycopersicon (peruvianum, hirsutum, chiloense) and their derivatives (3 tomato lines) examined showed different types of resistance to TMV. In double infections potato virus X, structurally related to TMV, caused marked multiplication of TMV in resistant lines.
