In a pot trial, plants of (a) the Australian Hunter Ravin and (b) the local L-9 grown from inoculated seed contained 122.6 and 115.6 mg total N/pot, respectively, at the maximum-nodulation stage; these values increased to 151.3 and 177.2 mg, respectively, at flowering.
