Synergistic action of ethylene with gibberellins in the growth of rice seedlings

In experiments with the dwarf rice Tan-ginbozu both ethylene and GA (GA3 and GA-like substances extracted from rice shoots and pea seedlings) stimulated the growth of coleoptiles under red light.
