Tensioning of band saw blade by rolls. V. The effects of rolling repetition, saw blade hardness, and rolls with different sectional diameters

The effects of repeated rolling and of other factors on the tension and crowning in band-saw blades were investigated. The harder the blade and the larger the diameter of the roller, the less did the tension and crowning increase with repeated rolling.
