, : The absorption of chlormequat and SADH into leaves of fruit plants. Acta Horticulturae (34): 79-84

Carbon-14-labelled chlormequat and daminozide were applied in aqueous solutions to detached leaves of Cox's Orange Pippin and Bramley's Seedling apples, Conference pear, Baldwin black currant and Cambridge Vigour strawberry. After treatment the leaves were maintained at controlled humidity and temperature. Absorption of the retardants by the leaves was greater at 100% than at 60% RH, and greater at 25 deg than at 15 deg C.
