The amount and temperature regime of the snow pack on areas of shelterwood fellings in montane hardwood/Spruce stands in the S. Urals
Gives data on the amounts of water in the snow pack, and temperature at the snow surface on areas where various types of felling had been done, viz. : clear felling; the first stage of shelterwood felling, removing 13.7, 18, or 43.2% of standing volume; and group selection felling, removing 25.4 or 38.7% of standing volume.
