The behaviour of the mycelium of Merulius lacrymans, Coniophora cerebella, and Poria vaillantii in mixed cultures

Describes the results of experiments with several Yugoslavian and W. German isolates of each of the three species, in which mycelial colonies representing different pairs of species were cultured together on agar (12 different combinations tested in all). No zone of inhibition was observed; the colonies came into contact, but intermingling of hyphal strands was extremely limited.
