The bleaching of sulphate pulps made from Poplar wood and from mixtures of chips of Poplar and Pine wood

The bleaching of sulphate pulps made from Poplar wood and from mixtures of chips of Poplar and Pine wood

Przeglad Papierniczy 28(9): 291-296

The study described showed that sulphate pulps made from Populus 'Robusta' wood could be bleached satisfactorily, required less bleach than pulps made from Pine and produced pulp characterized by a higher yield and greater opacity than Pine pulp, and not noticeably inferior in strength.
