The effect of phosphorus fertilizers on the yield of winter wheat on soil containing different amounts of available phosphorus



Agrokhimiya (2): 23-26



Carbonate chernozems of the Rostov region generally contain an insignificant amount of available P unless P fertilizer is applied. Wheat yield after bare fallow increased by 24-25% as the rate of application of P increased up to P180-P240, these rates increasing the available P2O5 content of the soil to up to 4.0-4.5 mg/100 g.
