The effect of variable-frequency sounds on plant growth

Six tunes and 2 random noise selections were used to determine whether variable sound frequencies affected the percentage germination of crops, including beans Pencil Pod, maize Golden Bantam, flax, oats Russell and peas Cremette. The effects of 4 tunes and the 2 noise selections on the growth and development of maize Golden Bantam and oats Russell were also examined. In no case was a clearly significant stimulation of germination obtained.
