During the fourth 5-year plan period the Hungarian state farms intend to increase their production by about 45 per cent. by 1975, as compared to the 1970 results. The growth attained in the first 2 years was proportionate to time. The accomplishment of the fourth 5-year plan objectives depends mainly on field crop production and pig breeding. In crop production, as well as an increased proportion of industrial and commodity type crop varieties, yields must be increased.
