Translocation of IAA in the strawberry plant in relation to the accumulation of nutrients in the fruit

, : Translocation of IAA in the strawberry plant in relation to the accumulation of nutrients in the fruit. Acta Horticulturae (34): 85-88

The translocation of nutrients and auxins in strawberry petioles and peduncles was studied by means of radioactive markers. In both organs polar translocation of IAA was within the vascular system. In the peduncle of intact plants both xylem and phloem transported nutrients acropetally, but at the same time IAA was transported basipetally.
