A method is described by which the nematode Deladenus siricidicola was reared in large numbers from a stock derived from adult parasitised males of Sirex noctilio F.. In 1971, over 1000 infested billets of Pinus radiata that had been inoculated with the nematode by a method that is described were distributed in infested areas of Victoria.
