A new automatic cocoon filament end picking machine (2). Statistical analysis for the determination of filament picking length



Journal of the Society of Agricultural Machinery, Japan 39(1): 65-70



A new cocoon filament picking method was proposed in which the picking length was fixed at a certain value which was determined theoretically. Statistical analysis showed 2-3 m to be the optimum picking length.
