A note on the rise in growth rate and ascorbic acid content of blood plasma before and after oestrus in Sahiwal heifers

A note on the rise in growth rate and ascorbic acid content of blood plasma before and after oestrus in Sahiwal heifers

Indian Journal of Animal Sciences 44(4): 275-279

Data are presented on 15 Sahiwal heifers aged 20.4-33.8 mth and averaging 202.4-295.4 kg body weight. The relative growth rate ranged from 40.0-73.4% before and 26.7-60.0% after oestrus.
