A practitioner's experience with experimental reo-coronavirus calf diarrhea vaccine

A practitioner's experience with experimental reo-coronavirus calf diarrhea vaccine

Veterinary Medicine, Small Animal Clinician 71(3): 351-354

In an area where diarrhoea was causing heavy calf losses, reovirus and coronavirus were demonstrated fluorescent antibody tests on sections of small intestine and colon from dead animals. In field trials in which calves were dosed within a few hours of birth with modified, live reovirus-coronavirus vaccine, no significant differences were noted between treated and untreated groups.
