This detailed survey of yews, mainly ornamentals, is based on observations on a collection of plants in the Secrest Arboretum and covers the following aspects: morphology; sex and fruiting characteristics; propagation; general culture and environmental responses; species, clones and cvs; recommended cvs with different growth habits; and lists of plants in the Arboretum.
