The experiment involved approx. 4000 White Leghorn females. In birds aged 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 15 mth, monthly egg production averaged 19.3, 22.6, 24.7, 26.0, 23.1, and 20.0 resp., egg weight 48.4, 51.5, 56.8, 57.1, 57.4 and 58.8 g, Haugh units 63, 78, 77.8, 75.0, 75.0 and 70.0, and shell weight 6.6, 8.34, 7.48, 10.37, 9.36 and 7.88 g. Data are tabulated on other egg quality characters.
