An analysis of the incidence of helminth infections in fish and the epizootic peculiarities of the main infections in the lakes of Southern Ural

Materialy Nauchnoi Konferentsii Vsesoyuznogo Obshchestva Gel' mintologov Trematody i trematodozy (29): 142-147

The rates of helminth infections in Leuciscus rutilus, Carassius carassius gibelio, C. auratus, Esox lucius, Perca fluviatilis and Acerina cernua in the lakes of southern Ural USSR were analysed over several years. Cestodes, particularly the pathogenic species Ligula intestinalis, Digramma interrupta and Triaenophorus nodulosus were the most consistently recorded helminths.
