Analysis of royal jelly of honeybees. I. Amino acid composition of hydrolyzates of fresh and lyophylized royal jelly

Analysis of royal jelly of honeybees. I. Amino acid composition of hydrolyzates of fresh and lyophylized royal jelly

Polskie Archiwum Weterynaryjne 18(3): 411-418

Quantitative and qualitative analysis of fresh royal jelly (FRJ) and commercial lyophylised royal jelly (LRJ) using an amino acid analyser, revealed that they contained the same 15 amino acids; lysine, histidine, arginine, aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, alanine, valine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylalanine.
