Abstract
Data were obtained on 509 females , daughters of 82 rams. The h2 of body weight at 18 mth of age, fleece weight and staple length was 0.55, 0.24 and 0.31 resp. Body weight at 18 mth was significantly correlated with fleece weight and staple length (0.53 and 0.38 resp.), and fleece weight with staple length (0.29). Genetic correlations of fleece weight with body weight and staple length were 0.58 and 0.75 resp., and of body weight with staple length 0.29. [For Pt. 1 see ABA 43, 2911].
