Cassava forage as a protein in sugar cane diets for cattle: effects of different levels without urea on growth and on rumen fermentation

Cassava forage as a protein in sugar cane diets for cattle: effects of different levels without urea on growth and on rumen fermentation

Tropical Animal Production 2(2): 200-205

Two trials were with a total of 60 cattle of about 200 kg, Holstein X zebu of both sexes and zebu males. They got in the first trial for 70 days chopped fresh sugar cane without cassava forage or with 15, 30 or 45%, and in the 2nd trial for 56 days sugar cane with cassava 20 or 40%, without or with urea.
