Changes in the uptake of N, P, K, Ca, Mg and Na by salvias (Salvia splendens cultivar Czar Ognia) receiving differential mineral nutrition

Changes in the uptake of N, P, K, Ca, Mg and Na by salvias (Salvia splendens cultivar Czar Ognia) receiving differential mineral nutrition

Prace Instytutu Sadownictwa w Skierniewicach, B 1: 105-114

Salvia plants received N, P2O5 and K2O at 0.3:0.2:0.5 g/4 plants or double that rate. N, K, Ca, Mg and Na uptake was greatest until full flowering. P uptake was highest between flower bud formation and full flowering. Data are tabulated on the content of the elements studied in leaves, stalks, flowers, roots and whole plants.
