Characterization of the growth of star grass

Annual Report, Division of Livestock and Pastures, 1974-75: 119-122

Cynodon aethiopicus No. 2 given 4 equal applications of 125 kg N/ha at monthly intervals was harvested serially at 5 cm above ground at weekly intervals from the start of growth until 10 weeks later. A further series of plots was then cut to 5 cm and the regrowth pattern determined by weekly serial harvests.
