Chemical composition and nutritive value of anjun (Hardwickia binata Roxb.) leaves

Indian Journal of Animal Sciences 44(3): 150-152

The leaves of H. binata contained 1.77% DCP, 47.69% TDN and 29.53% SE in the DM. The DM intake by sheep was 1.7 kg/100 kg body weight and the animals showed a negative balance of N, 0.87 g/day; the retention of Ca and P was 0.16 and 0.06 g, respectively.
