6 adult bullocks were fed D. biflorus (= Macrotyloma uniflorum) pod shells for 30 days. The pods contained 8.45% CP, 1.03% ether extract, 44.53% CF, 83.23% total carbohydrates, 1.08% Ca, 0.08% P and 0.21% Mg. Daily DM intake was 1.86 kg/100 kg bodyweight.
