For groups of Latvian Browns (LB), Hereford X LBs, Charolais X LBs and Aberdeen-Angus X LBs resp. (9 animals/group), daily gain averaged 703, 745, 860 and 689 g, body weight at 15 mth of age 386, 400, 420 and 345 kg, food consumed/kg gain 7.2, 6.9, 6.6 and 7.8 kg, and dressing percentage 52.0, 55.1, 56.3 and 54.6.
