Control of Lymantria monacha larvae with Dipel



Sylwan 119(5): 48-51



Describes a successful aerial application of this Bacillus thuringiensis preparation, at 4 dosages, in infested Pinus sylvestris stands in Poland. Mortality of the larvae was >90% at the lowest dosage (1 kg/50 litres water per ha). B. thuringiensis persisted on needles for 3 weeks despite heavy rainfall.
