Criteria for early selection in tulip breeding

, : Criteria for early selection in tulip breeding. Acta Horticulturae (47): 179-185

Comparison between small bulblets and adult bulbs of well-known cvs has led to provisional criteria for early selection which are being tested in seedling populations. Early selection for production had no adverse effect on forcing ability.
