The haploid chromosomes whose numbers were firmly established for Anguina graminophila, A. graminis and Paranguina agropyri (n = 9), for A. agrostis (n = 6) and provisionally fixed at n = 9 to 10 for A. millefolii and n = 9 to 12 for Subanguina radicicola, are compared with those of A. tritici (n = 19).
