In 8 Rila Monastery (RM) and 8 Toggenburg X RM females resp., milk yield averaged 209.0 (166-254) and 243.6 (188-277) litres, lactation duration 226.4 (221-232) and 235.7 (212-261) days, and mean daily yield 0.92 and 1.03 litres.
