Abstract
In the Crimea fertilizer to essential oil roses is applied as a side dressing. In experiments with the cvs Krymskaya Krasnaya and Michurinka the uptake and distribution of nutrients fed to separate roots were studied. A stable connection was found between individual roots and shoots of roses on their own roots but not between those of grafted plants.
