2. From 300 to 480 days of age 15 Polish Black-and-White Lowland bulls were fed on a pelleted balanced feed of dried potatoes 30, grass meal 25, dried sugar beet pulp 15, ground barley 8, minerals 2% and 20% of a concentrate containing 10% urea, dried potatoes and sugar beet, lucerne meal, oilmeals, ground rye, molasses, yeast and minerals; 1 kg chopped barley straw daily was given also. A similar group got meadow hay, maize silage and concentrates.
