Effect of feeding legume grain supplements on ovulation rate in Border Leicester X Merino ewes

Mature Border Leicester X Merino ewes were treated with PGF2 alpha to induce ovulation. Ewes fed diets containing lupins or soya beans had higher av. ovulation rates (1.97 and 1.94 resp.) than ewes fed lucerne + barley or peas (1.84 and 1.78).
