Whilst the effect of temperature on photosynthesis is well established, the influence of growth temperature on net carbon exchange (NCE) and component processes is less well documented. In the present study the degree of temperature adaptation on plant growth in relation to NCE and photorespiratory activity and selected in vitro enzyme activities has been determined in tall fescue grown at 10 and 25 deg C.
